Life and Death Along the Arizona Border
Democrats and Republicans alike only address the border when that discussion can no longer be avoided
You may not have had it on your 2024 Bingo card that Katie Hobbs would come off as a more ferocious defender of America’s right to assert her national boundaries than many key leaders in Arizona Republican circles over the years, but sure enough, that is what happened in the aftermath of her order sending the Arizona National Guard to the border:
"With this Executive Order, I am taking action where the federal government won't," Hobbs said in her press statement, adding that the Biden administration has also "failed to respond" to her request to reimburse the state for border security spending.
Of course we all know this executive action and the corresponding statements are a matter of political survival given that 2024’s races are once again going to be heavily impacted by the border crisis, which has been a hot topic in Texas recently, and over the decades has allowed countless millions of illegal aliens into our sovereign nation. Contrary to what the media would have you believe, a massive percentage of these invaders are cloaked in tactical gear and here for more than free healthcare and cash under the table. Kari Lake’s desire to eradicate them, their cartel masters, and their political influence from Arizona entirely is one major reason she was gradually maneuvered away from an inevitable victory in November 2022.
Border security and preventing illegal immigration is not a “conservative” position. It is a common sense position Democrats used to embrace when they had an interest in protecting the working class. Both parties have since learned they can abandon border security to advance a one world order, dissolve the concept of nation states and citizenship, impoverish the minority working class so it needs more government to survive, provide cheap labor to donors, and alter ethnic demographics over the long haul.
Polling of Democrat voters shows increasing concern over the border, made obvious by the defection of the Latino working class to Donald Trump in numbers few thought possible before 2020. Simply put, we will either enforce our national borders, or in time cease to exist as a Republic. Arizona has a right to defend her borders, and the federal government’s inaction and the inaction of previous leaders in Arizona is a condemnation of all involved who have abandoned their oaths of office.
I will never support policy or legislation that impoverishes the working class, especially minorities, rewards illegal activity, and devalues citizenship.
Please consider contributing to my campaign. My seat in LD-17 is one of the most sought by Democrats in the entire state of Arizona, and I need your help! Thank you to those who already have.
